Since I arrived in Brazil, I had this dream to travel to Belém and his state Pará.
For sure I wanted to know more about this place that was so attracting to me, but also, as I really consider his work, I really wanted to be able to go there with Alfredo Bello aka Dj Tudo and help in his local recordings.
By luck, a common opportunity appeared and we spent a whole week in Pará while late June, recording live Carimbó bands and local plays! Then I stay for another week in Belem for more personal researches.
I've never been so good for writing so I cannot find the words to describe what I saw, the people I met and how intense those days has been.
Sometimes images tells more than words,
so I cannot resist to share with you a short preview extracted from the thousands photos that I brought back.
Just to make your mouth water awaiting the complete post about this trip who will features photos, videos and live recordings!

strong images and very impressive, what a trip :)

fred.
